Perfect for a holiday party! Requires no baking and is quick and easy to make.

1 box (12-oz. size) Vanilla wafers, in crumbs
1 1/2 cup finely chopped nuts
3/4 cup Powdered sugar
1/4 cup Cocoa or European Style Cocoa
1/2 cup light or dark rum
3 tablespoons light corn syrup or molasses or honey
Powdered sugar, for rolling

In a large bowl, combine the cookie crumbs, the chopped nuts, the powdered sugar and the cocoa powder. Add rum and corn syrup; blend well. Shape into 1-inch balls and then roll in powdered sugar. Store in an airtight container 2 to 3 days to develop flavor. Lightly re-roll in powdered sugar before serving.
