1-2 medium leeks 1 Tbsp flour 2Tbsp butter 1/2 cup milk Salt & Pepper to taste Curry (if desired) Cut leeks lengthwise once and then crosswise into 1/2 inch pieces. Cook leeks until tender and scoot to one side of the pan or remove from pan. Melt butter, add flour and blend well. Slowly add milk and bring to boil. Sauce should be slightly thick. Add spices as desired. Mix in the leek and let it cook a few minutes.
