Carmel Corn
· Grease a large roasting pan or bowl. Pop large pot of popcorn, place in pan/bowl, sprinkle with peanuts or other nuts. · In 2 Qt sauce pan heat: 1 C Brown Sugar ½ C Butter ½ C Light corn syrup · Cook, stirring until mixture reaches 290F or hardball stage. (Syrup becomes brittle when dropped into cool water). Remove from heat immediately and pour over popcorn-stir quickly until coated.
