Chili Molé Recipe

(Mexican Molé version...Chocolate is the secret ingredient)

Makes: 8 servings

1 lb. ground chicken or lean ground beef

3 cans (15 oz. each) chili-style diced tomatoes, undrained

2 cans (15 oz. each) black beans, drained, rinsed

1 can (15 oz.) kidney beans, drained, rinsed

1 square Unsweetened Baking Chocolate

2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese


COOK chicken in large saucepan on medium-high heat until cooked through, stirring occasionally.

ADD tomatoes, beans and chocolate; mix well. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

TOP each serving with 1/4 cup cheese, shredded lettuce, sour cream, etc.
