This is easy and great for hot weather. 

First make a simple syrup.  Just 1:1 sugar and water. Combine in a pot or saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring until dissolved.  Once it's cooled you can put it in a jar or plastic container and keep it in the fridge, ready to use. 

Then for the lemonade, combine 1 part lemon, or lime, juice with 1 part simple syrup.  I make this in quart (32 oz) Nalgene bottles, and usually use a 1/2 cup each.  Then top it off with water.  If you keep the syrup, fruit, and water (Brita) in the fridge, then it's all cold when you make it. You can also vary the syrup and juice ratio to your liking, a true ade is probably more like 1/3 cup each. 

And it tastes infinitely better than the mix.  If you are anywhere with reasonably priced lemons or limes, this will be alot (1/2 at least) cheaper than buying mixes or ready to drink drinks.
