Hoisin Honey Chicken Thighs PDF Print E-mail
Written by Sandie

This is a very simple chicken recipe that I created by using a recipe that was similar, but of course I added a few ingredients, like garlic, duh!  We had this last night for dinner, served with roasted vegetables and it was delish!  You can also use 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts.  Hope you like it.

Hoisin Honey Chicken Thighs

6 boneless, skinless, chicken thighs
Non stick cooking  spray
1/2 c. hoisin sauce
2 T. honey
3 tsp. rice vinegar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes
1 green onion chopped, divided
1/4 tsp. crushed garlic, jarred
Salt and pepper to taste

Stir together hoisin sauce, honey, vinegar, cinnamon, red pepper flakes, whites of chopped green onion, and garlic.  Spray casserole dish with non stick cooking spray, place chicken in dish, spoon 1/2 of sauce on top.  Sprinkle with salt and pepper.  Bake for 20 minutes, then brush a little more sauce on each piece.  Continue baking for another 15 minutes.  Spoon or brush on the remaining sauce, then broil until sauce bubbles up, about 2 minutes.  Garnish with chopped onion greens.  Serves 3-4.
