Garlicy Red Lentil Dip PDF Print E-mail

1 cup red lentils
11/2 cup water
6 large cloves roasted garlic
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 1/2 tsp sea salt
1 1/2 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp hot red pepper sauce

Place lentils and water in small pan and boil for 4 minutes, remove from heat. Cover and let stand 12 minutes, most of water will be absorbed.

Puree all ingredients in food processor.

Serve with flat bread wedges.
